Wheathampstead Parish Council is aware of the situation with regard to the travellers and is following the relevant processes.
We will provide updates as and when they are available.

Another planting session has been organised for the walled garden this Saturday morning (11 May) at 10am to plant the second batch of plants – approximately 250 mixed plants. There are slightly less plants than last time, however some of them are larger.
If you would like to join the planting team, your help would be most appreciated! It would also be helpful if you have your own gloves and a spade or fork.

District councillor elections were held on Thursday 2 May 2019. Sandra Wood (Conservative) won the majority of the votes and therefore remains one of Wheathampstead’s District Councillors.
From Sunday 21 April, Vale Travel have taken over the running of the 304 Sunday bus through Wheathampstead – the 304 (timetable here).
Arriva have also taken over the running of the 357 bus (previously numbered 657), which runs Monday to Saturday (timetable here).
